The Ministry of Environmental Protection will issue seven new restraints in order to control the usa
China´s "Ozone-Depleting substances Regulations" newly implemented a set of guidelines on Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), which officially came into effect on June 1. This restricts the production, use, import and export volume control, and quota management; a fine of up to 1 million RMB for illegal production is imposed. The enactment of the new regulations will also provide more effective protection toward the second phase of the ozone layer operations in China.
According to the "Vienna Convention on The Protection of the Ozone Layer", and the "Montreal Protocol", from 2010-2030, China will be phasing out Hydrogen Chlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) type refrigerants and foaming agents of seven sectors, such as refrigeration, air conditioning fields and foam plastics. The Ministry of Foreign Managers will begin to phase out in these seven sectors within the next two years. Furthermore, the Ministry of Environmental Protection is also speeding up the development of this phase-out program with the expectation of developing it into a national level phase-out program in the future.
